In addition to what was already said on our cover page here is some additional information. 

After an indepth study is done to decide who we will breed with who, we proceed with the breeding. 
From that time on our females are closely watched in the house under our care. Even though we feel our dogs are beautiful 
to look at we will NEVER breed a dog with anything less than the perfect labrador temperament,
as we keep dogs from most breedings and 80 % of our puppies go into family homes.

We don't expect you to live with anything that we can't ourselves. Labradors should have wonderful temperaments. 
Labs have been in our lives since 1976. Our first child was a black female labrador retriever called Dawn. 
She was with us until she was fourteen.  Our puppies are born in our house 
in the nursery or sometimes the kitchen. At a few days old we remove the dewclaws, 
and at three weeks old we start our de-worming program. 
At seven weeks old the vet comes here to give them their first set of vaccines. 
At that time we also micro-chip our puppies. 

This is a safeguard to help you get your pet back should it ever become lost or stolen 
and also to keep them out of animal shelters. 
At eight weeks of age our puppies go to approved loving homes .

Here at Asklar we receive alot of inquires so to make it easier, if you are considering 
one of our puppies along with your questions to us, we would appreciate the 
following personal information in return. 

Please supply us in writing with as much information about yourself, your family, your lifestyle, plans for the puppy, reason you are
wanting a puppy, how the puppy will be raised, your expectations of a puppy, what you are looking for, colour, sex , etc. 
We want to know as much as possible about you. Our puppies are precious to us.

We always have a waiting list for our puppies and our pups go to their new owners on a first come first serve basis. 
To get on our waiting list you must answer the above questions, send a deposit of $150.00 
made out to L. WARVILL, and call or e-mail for an interview time when possible. 

Your name goes on the list the day the money is received. 
Final approval will be done on the day of your interview. If for any reason
we at Asklar feel you do not qualify for one of our puppies and a deposit has been 
pre-sent, your deposit will be returned. Once your deposit has been accepted 
by us here at Asklar it is NON-REFUNDABLE if the purchaser decides to cancel 
and or get a puppy elsewhere. We have committed to you and we expect the same in return. 

Some restrictions do apply. While we as breeders are careful not to over commit 
the puppies from any given litter, we as breeders cannot make any guarantees. 
If there is not a puppy for you from the litter requested and 
we cannot fulfill your order within six months , your deposit can be returned. 

Labradors are great dogs with which you can raise your children. 
But please remember that adding a new puppy to your family is like adding another baby. 
The first year especially takes alot of commitment in training etc. 
So think about whether you are ready to add another baby to your family at this time. 
We also do have older puppies sometimes and retiring dogs available to approved loving homes.

All of our breeding dogs have had their hips and elbows x-rayed certified clear of any hereditary joint disease. 
All of our breeding dogs also have had their eyes certified clear of PRA. 

In closure..... WE DO NOT SELL OUR PUPPIES OVER THE INTERNET. YOU MUST PHONE OR 
E-MAIL FOR EITHER A PERSONAL INTERVIEW WHEN POSSIBLE OR A TELEPHONE INTERVIEW 
WHEN DISTANCE IS AN ISSUE, BEFORE WE WILL SELL A PUP.
